As we celebrate the Christmas Holidays this year, there are thousands of local Citrus residents still struggling to deal with the impact of the recent hurricanes, loss of employment, or just the day-to-day challenges of making ends meet in the face of record inflation.
On Thursday December 19th Daystar Life Center, the Community Food Bank, The Breakfast station, True Value Crystal River and these local stations are coming together to host a “Citrus Family Gathering”. The event is open to anyone truly in need this holiday season, and includes a delicious holiday meal, heartwarming fellowship, and a celebration of Christmas and the real reason for the season.
“Citrus Family Gathering” is Thursday December 19th from 2 till 6 pm, at Daystar Life Center of Citrus County at 6751 West Gulf to Lake Highway in Crystal River. Kelly Wright with the Fox 96-7 and Laura Vaughn with Citrus 95 will be live on location from 2 until 4pm and the event is absolutely free to anyone who truly needs help.
